Burning Questions of the Day
Today's burning questions are:
1) Will Alex, Dawn, Megan, and this writer succeed in finding lodging in Brno so that we do not have to sleep on Jesse's floor (with his parents) after the folk ball on Saturday night? Dawn has tried to reserve a room at two places, both of which were full. Her laptop then (apparently) committed suicide.
2) Will Dawn's laptop be resurrected at the service center this morning? We thought her last difficulties were due merely to a dead AC adaptor, which she has since replaced. (Leading me to replace my own as well, as it looked much likelier to die than hers had, what with Ms. Spots having yanked on the cord a few times.)
3) Will I finish preparing my Fulbright presentation today, or continue to be distracted by interesting journal articles about early Czech feminism?
