Originally on my life in Prague and my dissertation research on early Czech surrealism. Now it's life in the fast lane. Or is that the slow lane? The passing zone? The No-Doz zone? Please turn off your cell phone in my classroom and turn your full attention to my diverting babble.

Whoever he is, he made me instantly think of Martiros Saryan. (http://www.armsite.com/painters/saryan/pshow.phtml?painter=Saryan&slide=0)
Interesting. Distinct similarity in the face. I'm reminded how (after a catastrophic earthquake in Armenia) he once commented to the effect of how the Armenians, not the Jews, were clearly the Chosen People because God kept smiting them. Of course, you can only really say something like that if you're a Jewish atheist.
