How Did They Know???

You're Watership Down!

by Richard Adams

Though many think of you as a bit young, even childish, you're actually incredibly deep and complex. You show people the need to rethink their assumptions, and confront them on everything from how they think to where they build their houses. You might be one of the greatest people of all time. You'd be recognized as such if you weren't always talking about talking rabbits.

Talking rabbits? "The Adventures of the Fierce Bad Rabbitoid" comes to mind!

Perhaps a talking rabbit is a sign of something... hmm...

This is a wonderful book; read it years ago and think I will reread it. It's one of the books that I wish made it big time instead of Harry Potter. If I recall correctly one of the main rabbit characters was named, Tenner... Did they ever make a film of it I wonder?

The animated film of Watership Down, with Fiver and his friends, came out around 1980 and is pretty good, although of course can't get in all the subtleties of the book. The animation is nicely done.

And... Rabbitoid will go down in history, but those inflatable rabbits next to Laura Bush... um... well...
